I was wondering how viable boomkins would be in 5.2 with all these other classes getting nerfed and etc? would ferals be more of a better choice and how viable would a boomkin with a rogue be?

Moonkins will work fine. However, they're basically still the same as they were this season. The changes to other classes won't effect them too much, though warriors getting nerfed means that the cleave train won't hurt as much. However, with rogues and monks being buffed, you're still going to be hard pressed to get a cast off and will rely on instants like this season.

Moonkin damage with cooldowns up is absolutely retarded. Moonkin damage without cooldowns is low.

You basically have to run a comp, ideally a spellcleave, that can gib things.

LSD2 may also work well next season, as affliction is getting some changes that will help.

Moonkin/rogue/x may work next patch, simply because you can attempt to kill things in a smokebomb with all your cooldowns popped. It's very gimmicky and if you fail to get a kill you would basically need to kite around due to lack of damage. Of course, rogues seem to be pretty dumb on their own, so it might just work if rogues are broken enough.

Feral will still be great. It has good damage, mobility, and utility. Their cyclone just has a cooldown on it now, so you can't chain them back-to-back.
