Has no one considered slipping into berserker stance to gain rage from healable damage.   Do any of you use battle stance on live?  This change to defensive stance is NOT BAD AT ALL.

We will be able to use 2 new glyphs in the patch because 2 old glyphs will be worthless.  Glyph of Mortal Strike and Bull Rush look really appealing.  Bull rush and Juggernaut is 30 rage every 12 seconds. I'm sorry the TR players couldn't figure that out on the target dummies.  Warbringer works with Blitz on TR, which is about as close to 20 second shockwaves as you can get.

Lets look at positive changes for warriors this patch and stop dramatizing the negative changes;
Storm Bolt now deals 125% weapon damage, up from 100%.
Slam now deals 220% weapon damage, down from 190%.
Impending Victory will now heal the Warrior for 15% of maximum health when they have not slain an enemy, up from 10%.
Bladestorm can no longer be disarmed.

Storm bolt does more damage and will scale better with our weapons, and impending victory is a viable option over second wind (especially against melee teams).  We have the option to choose 2 instant abilities that cost no rage and deal scaling damage, on top of Slam's damage being buffed.  Bladestorm is also viable if you do not like the cooldown change to shockwave, I personally think its a great tool to use defensively (1.5 minute stun break imo) and also can be used to pool rage in the process.  I think specs will differentiate between having avatar and shockwave vs having storm bolt and bladestorm. All 3 healing talents are viable also increasing the variance of warriors specs.

Will warriors be as mongoloid as they are now?  No, I still think they will be a lot of fun to play though.  I enjoy that we are getting more options to play with.  People are quick to shoot down battle and berserker stance but they both offer a lot.  Good luck in 5.2!

You are partially right. Zeker stance is not worth it over battle stance if you are not taking 20k dps. And I'm completely fine with playing in battle stance - I do the same right now - the problem is tho that when you will have to go defensive, your damage will be completely crippled, and that, is my only concern. If overpower cost less rage then it would be just fine.

You should use "my damage will be crippled" and not "your."  I didn't really experience any problems on TR, maybe you guys are still stuck on the paper side and should go test things out for yourselves.

I know of course that the rage cost make this ability absolutely not worth it, however not binding it is for me a mistake, it's a waste of rage but sometimes it can be useful (as heroic throw is).

My idea is to just use some modifiers with the slam for it.

(for heroic throw my modifier is with throw and stormbolt)

No, your damage while in defensive stance is really bad(yes, I have played on the ptr quite a bit). As well, bladestorm has too long of a cooldown.. And as far as I know, cannot break CC(has to be used before said CC lands). And shockwave+storm bolt will be a viable option next patch... if not only for the fact that you cannot DR stuns with just shockwave alone anymore.

Also, ER is not a viable healing talent in my honest opinion. Did you guys use this ability in cata? It is just highly unreliable.. Getting caught in a stun while HP is dropping fast..to be stuck at 20 rage..and have an enrage effect just fall off(they only last 6sec now).. Was quite frustrating on the PTR.

Personally, I think all the changes to warriors so far are fine(except cost on op). And I assume any warrior above 2.2k knows how valuable stance dancing can be on live at the moment.

With the cost on OP, I just simply do not see a reason to be arms over fury.

What is wrong with doing less damage when focused?  Isn't that good game design?  What class can put out nearly full dps while being trained?

If you call different forms for a druid "stance dance" then druids have the most stances to manage of any class.

human - caster/healer pewpew
cat - stealth pounce or displacer beast
bear - defensive Cds and repent/sheep immunity.
travel form - travel speed buff, similar to when hunters go cheetah.
tree form - regrowth spam god mode

speaking of tree form in particular- this is offtopic and I apologize.  I think I have posted this somewhere else and should probably make seperate topic.  But wouldn't a good fix for rdruids be to make the tree of life have no cd and work like demo lock metamorphasis?  Would give more frequent, and less ridiculous healing, probably help them vs cleaves and other comps like that.

would probably get the tree of life power by healing (overhealing doesnt count, bar starts full at beginning of arena in case of extreme burst).  I think this would help fix a lot of druids weaknesses to burst atm, and increase their burst healing output, but they would go oom, if they kept having to spam it (might haveto do something about blooms on multiple people though, so they couldn't keep them on everyone all the time w/o tree up).

Thoughts anyone?  As I have said this is off-topic, and should be in own post, but I think it's a good idea.

Well this patch just nailed the coffin for me PvP wise. This shit has gone off long enough. Nerfs after nerfs after nerfs. My bottle has been filled over the brim.
