Spinning Fire Blossoms’ damage has been adjusted to scale from weapon damage rather than attack power.
All numbers using full malevolent with unupgraded t1 weps.
What this translates into:
You'll be using the minor glyph.
Costs one chi.
It's fire damage, ignores armour, does benefit from rising sun kick debuff, not from tiger palm.
It's better damage per chi than blackout kick (nearly double).
It has a 50 (yes FIFTY) yard range.
Damage from 0 range on a target dummy - 40k hits, 80k crits
Damage from 10+ yards on a target dummy - 60k hits, 120k crits
So on someone with 68% resil (i'll be nice because thats the resil from someone with fully upgraded gear), given 42.29% pvp power in PTR gear (again, all un-upgraded, crap weapons)
Damage on 68% resil from zero range - 18k hits, 36k crits.
Damage from 10+ yards on 68% resil - 27k hits, 54k crits.
All seems legit up to now.
Lets factor in tigereye brew (42% damage increase) and on use pvp trinket with the rising sun kick debuff.
Target dummy, no range - 70k, 140k crits
Target dummy, 10 yard range - 105k hits, 210k crits
68% resil, no range - 32k hits, 64k crits.
68% resil, 10 yard range - 48k hits, 96k crits.
So 48k hits, 96k crits from 50 yards away, and the best bit is you can fire 7 (max chi - dump - expel harm - dump) in a row.
Thats at minimum 336k damage from range (285k if you can't RSK them).
With equal gear and upgraded t2 you're looking at 350k-400k damage without a single crit. Plus easilly over 100k crits on max resil.
