Guess im not the only one who feels the same then. I would still like shockwave to be reworked a bit. Like 5 sec stun if it stuns 1 target or 30 sec cd no matter what. Cause the 3 target thing revolves more around lag then skill.

Is anyone considering taking dragons roar instead of shockwave now?

Dragon Roar is basically a Slam crit with Csmash on the target. I really only found it to be useful on 100rage swaps/bursts. A CS>Slam+HS>Slam+HS>Dragon Roar with procs/trinket/avatar/enrage/one shot breaks the ~400k+ mark on full resil targets in 3-4GCDs. But Dragon Roar also has a big negative with the fact that it loses damage with the more targets it hits. It seems to do around ~20% less damage with 2 targets hit. And ~30% for 3 targets hit(could be wrong about these numbers, but this appears to be close).
Basically would depend on the comp you're playing/facing. As do all talent choices.

It's useful if you plan around. If you don't, it's basically a slam crit on a 1min CD that costs no rage. The utility on it isn't really worth mentioning imho. As it's so minor..especially on a one min CD.. it's just meh.

IMO shockwave is still the clear choice even with a 40 sec CD.  I'm only really worried about warrior survivability vs some high damage classes/comps.  Our damage still feels very strong and I definitely think we can still compete at top tier.

So is everyone sticking to the same gear setup and reforge setup as last season.  I heard a lot of people talking about haste being a better idea but I'm not sure if it's only theoretical or has been proven true in arena.  would love some words on this

Not sure. The haste different from going haste > mastery is so minimal that it doesn't seem to matter. Also our mastery is more useful since it procs our CS. So i assume to still go Resi> pvppower> Crit> Mastery> Haste.

Have had a lot of fun combining Bladestorm with Bloodbath and Sweeping Strikes today in bgs. Fun to see some people poop their pants cause you become unpeelable for some time. So far i came up top dmg done in every bg. And that even with almost double fold.

Deep wounds finally does some worthful damage aswell. But so far i do not figure out much were to add Slams in. Mostly Hamstring> Cs> Ms >Op> Op> repeat. I only find an extra global if some other class applies the slow. I have been trying to prio Slam over Op. But it just feels it does less damage cause of the quick globals you get from Op+MS cd reduction.

No - in pvp gear haste sims 30% better than crit and 40% better than mastery.

That's what I've heard but arena environments are so much different than sims.  Did anyone get some proper testing done on the PTR?

Yes and haste is better, unless vs comps that train you all day and you have to stay def stance all game. Then it's crit>master>haste

I doubt it's gonna be every game - only caster cleaves can do it really effectively

What most of the people here don't understand is the survability problem that we have in 5.2.I guess the point of Blizzard is to make us stance dance more, but it won't work this way.

The DS nerf was absolutely needed and none can disagree about that, however, being forced to sit in Battle Stance and having 0% passive damage reduction while going offensive is just way too much. The thing is,you will be easily able to counter pressure a warrior team unless they completely one-shot your partner which is not likely to happen.

Let's put an example: You are popping your reck+avatar on the shaman. The opposing mage will just deep you and they are going to just easily screw you up,if not kill you.

The other nerfs that were done, were just needed and i'm pretty sure none will complain about it,the only thing that is wrong is the overpower change.Hope they will realise this soon.

No it wasn't since it was coupled with the overpower change - why were there no changes to dks and blood presence.

And the overpower change is fine - we are warriors not mages. Rage management should be an issue.

Probably, that's what I mean though,by me 25% is like a bit too much, however we still need the passive damage reduction to not get globaled by everyone as I mentioned in the post.
By these current changes we are forced to go out with 0% damage reduction, which right now in MoP even a little bit is crucial.I'm not saying that we don't need it,instead I'm trying to say that we have a need of it.
