Oh ya and don't bother just standing in the trap, not like it would avoid 8 seconds of cc for your healer...

Maybe if we keep bringing it up, they'll eventually get fixed so they actually have to use some small amount of skill to win games, instead of using all of their cooldowns (twice) and hoping something dies in the first two minutes of every match.


But seriously, I think it would make sense to either reduce BM Hunter damage or CC. Both are extremely high.

So... when the hunter scatters you're suppose to cast a 1.5 sec clone? Silence scatter is also really hard because the hunter scatters then freezing trap second after and maximizing your globals is important so you might not have the global to silence the hunter.
Its not easy MDing with a warrior sitting on you stunning at the same time or the hunter can simply pet stun you. Or silencing shot, or pally stun you, or pally blind you, which are all instants.

So, what you are saying, our single CC, that require us to use 3 CC's, scatter, silence and stun, on 3 different people, is overpowered?

Even though it have a 3 second activation time from it is being started, till it hits, where ANY interrupt, stun, silence, los, position change, means we won't get it off for another 30 seconds... is overpowered? It is combined with other, OP classes that our instant CC becomes retarded. When we are playing with ferals or warriors, that do insane amount of damage then it becomes overpowered.

Should just add it to DR something so we can't throw it all into one target. But that would require trap to become a "freeze arrow" instead of a put on the ground spell. Or some other way to compensate that change.

I don't see why this is a topic, eating traps isn't a high level thing anymore it's generally common knowledge now and as long as your partners are being aware of what's going on it shouldn't be an issue most of the the time.

I'm a masochist I guess because I run with a disc atm but generally he doesn't get scat trapped often and when he is slept/scattered i'm generally ontop of him for the trap.

I think what you should be crying about isn't the pet cc but the fact that your partner can die in one silencing shot >.>

That's just retarded. They should make a new trap called spike trap. If you run over it, it shoots a spike up and removes your skull and spine causing immediate death. The hunter is then given a permanent visible trophy on his back or belt. 10s cd.


Edit: Your pet also gets to eat the remains of the body and gets a permanent invisible 10% damage buff for each target eaten.

It's pretty tough to have a team member stand near your healer to eat traps.



EDIT: POWERSHOT WORKED LIKE 7/11 TIMES TODAY, I'M SO HAPPY (first day in a while where it was above 50%).

The issue is the sheer amount of damage that they bring to the table when they have a pretty solid cc chain every 30 seconds that their partner will assist with.  Not every team is able to eat traps for their healer, and should you choose to not spread out too much so traps can be eaten, more people get hit by the shockwave.

There really isn't a right answer to fixing the problem.  The biggest issue is the sheer increase in cc and stuns in the game, where some classes have not only top level damage, but also some of the best cc.  Both damage and healing output really needs to be toned down, with fewer types of crowd control, otherwise the classes that bring damage but little cc are pretty subpar.
