Who is just going to save up their conquest points til you've earned 27,000 points, spam bgs- get full gear from bgs and upgrade all your gear into elite right away?

Edit:

1) Save all the conquest points you get til you've reached 27,000 Conquest Points.
2) Farm all the gear you would normally spend your Conquest Points on with Honor
3) Upgrade the gear you farmed with Honor with your saved up Conquest Points (From Normal Tyranical to Elite)
4) Be behind in Gear Progression first 2 months, be a head for the next 2/Rest of seasson.

This is only relevant if the "Elite" gear got better stats than the "non-elite" gear.

I dont think the Elite gear gives any stat increase! but maby if they introduce ilvl upgrade it would be worth saving.

No one.  You're probably the only guy here who thinks waiting 2-3 months to grind gear in BGs is exciting/flaw to the system.
Tyrannical Gladiator’s gear can be purchased for Honor after 27000 Conquest Points are earned for the season. (5.3)<------

Try not to over think things, the honor system is in place to allow people with multiple specs to obtain multiple sets.  Not only that, but they haven't even mentioned anything about "upgrading" your gear.  The goal is to keep PvP gear more desirable than PvE gear, upgrading your gear will probably not be possible until they release the next PvE tier(5.3?)

Edit: Seriously though, easy fix:
Once you buy a bit of gear with conquest, you can buy the offspec pieces for the same slot with honor. Means your offspec is always up-to-date on gear if you want to do the honor grind and there is none of this 27k CQ bullcrap.

How can you not see the flaw in this system?

There's easy ways to fix this though, like having a "Conquest Point Cap", like Honor or like Snuggli said, make it so you can only buy parts you've already bought with cnoquest for honor. (you can buy a holy paladin set for honor if you've bought a full ret set for conquest already)

And by the way they are wording how team inflation is going to be, the only real competition for rating will be at the end of the season.

They did mention in the post that they want more tiers for PvP, and it doesn't make any sense for the elite gear not to have a stat increase if everyone can buy it. Who would want to buy the elite gear (granted it's just a recolour) when it's not unique whatsoever?

Doesnt the "to be introduced in 5.3" actually mean that you will only be able to purchase conquest stuff with honor after the future mid season / mid raid content balance patches which will prolly also introduce item upgrades and thus making this whole strategy irrelevant? I mean, of course you can stack your conquests into oblivion while waiting for a new patch, but it seems kind of pointless to play gimped for 3 months or whatever it will take Blizz to release those patches usually.

Get 27,000 Conquest Points that seasson without buying any gear and unlock the ability to buy non-elite pieces from honor, farm all the non-elite parts with honor, then use the 27,000 Conquent Points to instantly upgrade all your non-elite gear to elite right away...

Isn't that tyrannical with honor thing in 5.3? aka 9 years from now when everyone has  full gear anyway

5.3 will hit around the time the top PvP'ers get 27k, otherwise there's not even any point in having the cap-requirement there in the first place. I'd guess around 2 months after 5.2 release, or maybe even less.

5.1 hit 2 months and 2 days after MOP got released, wouldnt surprise me if 5.3 hit ~~2 months or less after 5.2.

I get the analogy but they needed to fix a lot of broken stuff with 5.1 fast. I dont think 5.2 will bring as many balance issues as 5.0 did, thus 5.3 might come live later. But again, its just a wild guess.
