The rest is good, but like someone else said, if you're not going for glad, there's literally 0 incentive for the average joe to push rating now. Oh well.

Its what i plan to do and always did, but most people actually needs a carrot to put efforts into something. Now that carrot is gone for 99.5% of the players.
Why even have Gladiator titles then, or rank one, or any kind of rewards, just getting better and having fun playing the game should be enough no?

Tired of helping gear up people just to have a chance to beat the top teams. Was going to quit but maybe this will fix 3v3 activity instead of just push glad /disband team culture

idk, keep the same cosmetic 2.2k elite gear, add some tabards and/or some challenge-like xmog set for, lets say, 2.4k and voyla, everyones happy again.

Don't see how it changes anything, people will still buy glad, probably even more now thats its the only cosmetic reward left in PvP.

I'd like to understand people celebrating the rating requirement change etc though. It will kill the 2100-2300 bracket which most of us play with our alts. There is now no incentive for people to get better either. If you think people are gonna try to get better to reach 27k cap sooner for elites, that's delusional. Also competition to what titles? Do you think people will farm Rival?
27k is a horrible number because every week people lose 700 points.by not doing rbgs. This gap becomes bigger and bigger when the cap to elite weapons is increased.
Why are people forced to play rbgs, it's painful. Why is it more rewarding? I think any 2.2k arena player can get 2.2k in rbgs if they queued enough but most people I know who have 2.4k+ rbg rating won't break 2.2k in 3s if their life depended on it.
Changes I would like to see are more along the lines:
-RBGs = 3s conquest points.
-RBGs not rewarding T2 weapon.
-T2 weapons have 2.2k requirement from 3s.
Once this is done, maybe they can look into t2 upgrade unfariness between melee and casters. A t2 upgrade for an affli lock or say moonkin is a joke comparing to a t2 upgrade for a rogue/warrior etc.
