Ok so ive been lookin for a shaman for my 3sold comp because id always heard locks and shamans have great synergy. The other day my partner says hes found a priest and asked me why shaman and i kinda scratched my head and replied well i dont know...ive just always seen high rated locks with shaman and sometimes druids.
Tldr= y are warlock shaman comps so good

Shamans are pretty much always positioned defensively or in the back in 3's, and so porting becomes a very strong tool (lock ports, shaman lines a second before and avoid's cc / interrupts, then tops the lock off). Hots always work well with locks because they have to occasionally life tap (or blood fear); shamans are one of the strongest single-target healers in the game and locks often are forced to kind of "tank" damage in some situations; hex doesn't DR with fear; and shamans are susceptible to to swaps / being trained and fear is an amazing cc to help with those peels.

it's because a lot of top teir comps have mages, and shaman+warlock counters them very very badly.
