MoP is shit because if you can't play every weeks and months, you just have to shut your mouse and stop the game.

It's funny.. At the time I played Wotlk I felt it was a bad expansion pvpwise, then again I really did enjoy it. I still rank tbc as the best pvp expansion even though there was a lot of drain->oom->win. The pace was a bit slower and tactics were more important than just throwing all your ccs at the same time and bursting something.

Either way, tbc + wotlk were the best expansions even though I really enjoyed rbgs the last season of cataclysm.

WOTLK by a longshot. I had the most fun in BC but playing BC now makes me feel like a chimpanzee. Any long term oldschool player who had success will know what i mean :P.

I tried tbc AT once, it felt so simple...?
That's not the best way to describe it, but that's how it felt for me.

TBC hands down! Even though my class towards the end of it wasn't the greatest. The PvP community was amazing. You could tell who the good players were by miles, nowadays there isn't that fine line. WotLK was ok as well.

Arena was at its peak during S7-S8. Before S8 when LSDs started appearing and after the African Turtle Cleave nerf in S7. That time was gold.

Agreed 100%.

The end of S8 was a bit shit due to wizard cleaves, but the beginning of that season and the previous one were great fun. I enjoyed S6 as well, though I played Marks/DK that season.
Bye again! This game isn't fun when you don't know anyone else that still plays.

The top 3 teams on BG1 in season 2 were all the same people, and late at night they would wintrade their main team up. This was before MMR, so all you needed was a percentage of the games played on a team to get credit, iirc.

Once those guys got banned, the next guys up just trade with each other rather than having multiple teams for the same people.

Point being, people have been trying to cheat rating since the beginning (minus maybe S1, since people weren't even very familiar with the rewards at that point).

If you're saying wintrading didn't take place in the burning crusade, you're very naive.

WotLK > MOP > TBC > Vanilla > Cataclysm

Game for community :
TBC > Vanilla > WotLK > MOP > Cataclysm

WotLK had far and away the best gameplay, TBC seemed so simple after it. It wasn't completely blown out of proportion like now where it seems that in Cata/MoP they just introduced several new 'pop this and do unhealable damage, while being immune to CC' cooldowns/1 shot abilities to each class and the game is purely comp based, specifically who can do the most damage in the fewest globals.

Community in TBC/early LK was good (I started playing in s3). With the introduction of Cata the community completely went to shit pretty much.
