Since the fix, and soon complete neutering to of TfB, what are the actual benefits of Arms over Fury?

They pretty much have access to the same defensive and control tools, only downside i could think of atm is that PvP gear doesn't have that much crit to support an high enrage uptime from BT/CS crits but as seasons will carry with crit rating and weapon damage becoming better and better, wouldn't it have some potential?

Both Raging Blow and Execute hit terribly hard. High enrage uptime also allows us to play with the Enraged Speed glyph, helping with uptime on targets.

Another thing is the possibility of wearing extremely powerful PvE weapons without losing PvP Power from wearing our PvP weapon as offhands. Fully upgraded Heroic Shin'ka + T2 as an offhand sounds pretty nasty, at least on paper.

No - enrage uptime is not good in pvp gear. All your dmg is during CS once every 20 seconds and you need 2 raging blows before you use it. You need more rage than arms. You need like 25% crit to make it work and you cant get that in pvp gear. You lose sudden death. And finally you play in d-stance - fury will never work in d-stance.

Btw TfB next patch is better than now. You can play rage free, get 100 rage then spam slam in a cs.

Is 15% reduction really waranting to stay in D-Stance 100% of the time? Obviously Fury's damage is based around CS, but with Warbringer + Shockwave (or even stormbolt post Shockwave nerf) you can lock your target for the entire duration of CS and dump an entire rage bar on him fairly often, and that hurts.

I didn't factor Slam's buff tough, i actually need to test it on the ptr, def sounds nasty yeah.

Hell yeah - in b-stance we melt faster than a naked rogue. That's why I had proposed to bring battle to 15%, so that we could actually have a choice

Fury got some problems in pvp: you need way too much rage to do damage, and in defstance you won't get enough rage to do that. And I agree with Braindance: battlestance will get you killed in openers. RPS for example will just kill you in an opener or at least make you pop all your defensive cooldowns & trinket which basically makes you lose the game sooner or later.

My kfc also killed a warrior in battlestance from 100-0 without the hunter using cds. If your trinket is on cd and you are in battlestance, you will die in a stun from my experience (you're even most likely to be soloed by wars/rogues/mages).

Another thing I really don't like about fury is that when you pull out your shield to reflect something or just play defensive, you are NOT able to use any skill besides bloodthirst. Raging blow, wild strike require you to have 2 weapons equipped.

EDIT: it also sucks to be so rng dependant, with low crit numbers, there will be games where you don't get any procs. Even in PVE as a fury i have fights where I don't get any procs for 1 minute (and that is while I am hitting the boss 100% of the time)
