Rogue PvP PTR discussion - thoughts

What do people think? I think personally rogues are being over-buffed in the wrong areas and and under-buff in the areas that need help.
I'm also open to the idea of making prep non-baseline and reducing the CD of vanish and cloak to 1:30. I also do not think prep should reset cloak if it's base-line.

just give us prep baseline and we're fine. 150 energy and other stuff we're getting is overkill
I'm fairly confident we're not fine with out any form of damage reduce or some way to live during stuns. Spamming feint with a 5 second duration is not a real option.

We are experimenting with allowing Smoke Bomb to reduce the damage done to allies by 20%. We agree that rogues are lacking in the group utility department and we'd like to see less use of Smoke Bomb strictly as an offensive ability in PvP.

I'm also open to the idea of swallowing whole potatoes if my neighbor's dog's life depends on it
Could you elaborate on how you'd go about doing that, please?

one of the suggestions would be to make evasion give you additional buff which makes rogue receive more healing from all sources, i don't think it would be too much considering how dodge does little to nothing and has 3 min CD
smokebomb experiment seems interesting however i don't see myself ever using bomb in RBGs other than on kill target (efc mostly) and top of flag for cap, arena is different story, but even then CD is so long it is better to save is for offense
i really hate that part of Blizz where they try to balance things by adding/removing dmg rather than fixing actual issues
