I don't enjoy RBG's and if you want to do them later on in the season to get a higer cap nobody wants you due to having a low CR.
I also didnt got points from arena the first 2 weeks since I leveld a monk first.

Surely somebody could do the math to figure out how much longer it would take to gear from arena only, but there is a visible trend even in this thread.
I have 4 different characters at 90 and I enjoy playing every one of them, but they all have about ~470 ilvl which is basically just honor gear + t1 and maybe a piece or two. I've done maybe 5-10 RBG's between all my characters because I think they are absolutely miserable.
The other problem as somebody else mentioned is that right around 1800 there is a brick wall where it seems like everyone has full malevolent with upgrades and their t2 weapon from RBGs. Even though they aren't any good, it comes to a point where you just can't outplay the gear difference. Of course we destroy any team with similar gear, but the majority of games where we are out geared and out comp'd really feel like an impossible uphill battle.
Next season I will probably pick 1 or 2 characters to play and just never touch the other ones, and that is unfortunate because not being able to play half of my characters really makes the game less enjoyable.

To gain full Malevolent gear with 2/2 upgrades with t2 gear (56000 Conquest Points):
31.1 weeks to cap 1800 from arenas only
25.5 weeks to cap 2200 points per week with arenas + 1 rbg
18.6 weeks to cap 3000 points per week
17.7 weeks to cap 3150 (maximum available from arena)
14.5 weeks to cap 3850 (maximum available from RBG)
So it's really long time to grind gear...

However, due to me having very bad gear (yes, full honor gear IS very bad compared to full malevolent, especially considering it will be at least 3/4 weeks until I have access to T1 [having this requirement should be removed late in the season because T1 is almost required to compete]) and little to no Current Rating, I will not get invited to any groups. Resigning myself to not even being able to compete for titles this season.
PVP is based almost entirely around gear now, and it has never been harder to get competitive gear when coming into a season late.
I enjoyed playing RBG's a fair bit prior to season 11 and played with arguably the best RBG team in Europe. Playing regularly with a fun bunch of people (~12-13 core players) who were also very good players made for some enjoyable games but 30 min+ queues made it nearly unbearable back then too.

I have done 0 RBGs this season and am currently sitting in 476 iLvL gear with 5-6 weeks of cap skipped for various reasons and also a streak of minimum caps at the start of the season due to lack of interest.
The way that the game is evolving is sadly making it less and less appealing over time.

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cunt... ME!

Anyways on the ''class stacking in RBG'' note:
I havn't seen more then 2 of 1 spec in over ~50 games against the top teams in europe, and I really dont know any top team who uses more then 2 of the same class. The only time I see 3 of one class is when its rdruid healer balance druid dps and feral druid tank.
Anyways in my own opinion the best setup right now is Feral Druid-Rsham-Mistweaver Monk/Rdruid-Hpala-Spriest-Balance Druid-Frost Mage-Frost DK-Destro Lock-Balance Druid/Destro Lock.
As you can see, in theory you can have 4 different druids of which 2 are the same spec, in practise you will rarely see more then 2 of 1 class in high-level RBG.
Having said that, its ridiculous how much easier it is to get high points in RBG then in arena, espec with the inflation because of wintraders right now.

to you and me and a good portion of the people who actually play this game for high level pvp, yes, it is obvious which ones are op even in RBGs. but compare 10v10 to 2v2. you can get by running slightly varied comps in RBGs even if it is technically better to use the op ones. in 2v2 it's all the same comps at the top and that's in a bracket that has no incentive in it other than to just fuck around and cap points

also i feel like this is relevant: http://us.battle.net...g=&specType=all
$20 to anyone who finds more than 5 players on that list who didn't exploit/wintrade
edit: also to be more specific, ive spent a good 15K+ Conquest on ret gear as my OS so i guess after upgrades on my holy i would have been technically done 'gearing'.

He's clearly just better than the rest of us. Can you send that $20 to my Paypal, pls?
