Should add some more things to get in arena, like tabard at 2300, pets, some more achievements perhaps like winning 1000 games, winning a 1vs2 situation etc. It would most likely encourage people to play arena even more!

they should remove all titles from the game past and present, and introduce a league based region-wide placement system akin to SC. Title type rewards only promote cheating. Always have always will. Sadly with the cross realm queue system with individual BG ladders its now easier than ever for teams to cheat. In addition to this, cheating for titles has reached an all new low, with the DDOS era of wow.

TLDR version: Remove all titles R1 or otherwise, Merge all US battlegroups into one regional BG on a central based server, Make league based placements ala SC2 ===== Cheating will go down

We should bring back 2s, so we can see which Warrior/Paladin teams manages to queue into more double DPS between the 30 minute draws, and then give them a title for their amazing display of high skill play.

attach the battlegroup and bracket it was achieved on to the end of the title, and then add how much money that account has spent on race, faction and server xfers that season

btw 5v5 is more balanced than 3v3 (pretty much any class/spec can get r1 in 5v5), which is more balanced than 2v2. 5s is the bracket that everyone goes hard in, too - those are partners you play with all season, where as 95% of people team hop 3v3 to play for fun all season.

You know there's an issue when last season shadowburns ranks went: r1 got r1, r2 got duelist lol

I'm not sure why they wouldn't just award rank 1 5s normal gladiator titles if it's that inactive,
I agree that 5s has sadly become a win trading tool in a lot of the smaller bgs

I doubt they will do that. Without that title the participation would drop from 200 teams on some on the smaller realmpools to zero and blizzard would have to agree, that the bracket is _completely_ dead, and they hate to admit that even the smallest part of the game is dead. Right now they can still say "some people like it".

BTW: I think with the the participation rates dropping for arena, we need more incentive for the people to play arena, not less.
