What do you think about the blood fear change ? I think it's a big nerf. it was the only thing that compensated our low damage.

Considering they changed it to a horror it basically gave warlocks another defensive. Imo it's a good change.

So now we have the basic Fear and Blood Horror, it's like the shadowpriest thing ?
Blood horror share same DR with fear ?

DR category Horror = Death Coil, Psychic Horror (SP disarm) and now Blood Fear.

I think its a nerf overall cause instant fear was perfect to start a cc chain. Was as good as deep freeze. Will be much harder now!

And Horror is only vs melee (melee damage you take will fear the enemy).

Well I was expecting alot more buffs for warlocks but those warrior nerfs are more than enough to make warlocks viable again . Also i think RLS is going to be really strong

actually we are on the same stage, there are some changes that have no sense like the nerf of curse of enfeeblement ( 20% to 10%) we still need dark intent undispeleable otherwise if we dont play with shaman we will lose -10% spell -15% mastery =  -14.5% average dmg on affly, they cant land 5.2 patch like this, we still need something else, hibryd class like sp are not supposed to do our job better than us.

edit, changes that i approve ( i even thought a lot about this, how to make people play warlock again without make it OP):

- Glyph of dark soul actually is the worst shit i have ever seen, change it to give al 10% of Dark soul PASSIVE(not only when dark soul is not on cooldown), and reduce 10% the power of dark soul, so we can actually get 3% haste out of Dark soul and still have 30% of haste while in dark soul. So we can play with glyph of UA, dark soul and choose between hs or siphon life or even drain life

- Make DI undispelleable.

- Low the mana cost of tp ( 10% of our own mana? srsly? we are class that use health to have mana and we dont have a decent own heal) change it to 5% at least. Same with soul swap, change it to half of the actual mana.

- Whenever someone dispel COA it needs to remove half of the charges, not dispel the coa, 90% of our dmg is based on dots ( if coa has one charge, then its removed)

- The rng of nightfall is too much, they should increase the chance of getting shards to 7.5% ( between 7 and 8 should be fine, actually its 5% only)

- Remove the change of curse of enfeeblement, 20% is really nice since we need to choose between coe and enfeeblement, 10% is nothing if you keep nerfing things like that, blizz, you are cleaving the playstyle of good warlocks, this game is not only about do dmg, people like to see control on the game, cc to kill or defensive cd's and abilities to survive.

- FIX the delay of optical blast, FIX soulburn - health funnel

- Give a passive to heal our pet with 5% of our dmg

- Give dots made by soul swap to not be dispelled for 5 sec after you use it

locks are good in pve so blizz doesn´t care very much

Pretty much this bar the gateway change. That would be retarded: the whole idea of the spell is that it's there for the team/group/raid etc, not just for the lock. Could still do with being a shorter cast.

Edit: I'm assuming you mean sac pact rather than demonic sac.

Gateway is completely broken with only a 15 sec cd, I don't understand locks that actually try to justify it.

Pets need healing through the warlocks damage again like they always had.
Remove shard cost of haunt.
Put howl on another tier than coil and shadowfury.
Make glyph of soul shard base line.

My two cents.

Well its actually quite simple, let's see its a baseline 5 second cast that literally any good team can and in most cases will stop. If haunt didn't cost a shard in this state
of the game I feel as if locks might have no uses for shards other than sb sswap

i really dislike the UA playstyle of insta dots on whole team rofl. and the fact that haunt is a shard really limits the way aff is played. i feel like they could add shadowbolt back into the game and have that be based around soul shards so that you can pool nightfall procs and do haunt into sburn shadowbolt for burst as Aff. sort of similar to cata playstyle which i enjoyed a lot.

tl;dr
-fuk sb:ss
-add sburn shadowbolt
-smoke weed on the regular

afflock is death if this patch goes live. why should anyone take an afflock if they could have a shadowpriest?

too much love for many different chars except afflock.
