Hey, so im 88 and haven't played since cata, does honor gain from randoms increase at 90 or is it same as now.
The question is , should i farm honor at 89 to buy all honor gear before i ding 90 ? (assuming i'll have an advantage at 89 fighting 85-89 people)

Ding 90 and afk or ask your "buddy" to do it for you (since most of the community does it anyway way). You get significantly more honor at max level, but its also unplayable as an undergeared toon as you will spend most of your time at the graveyard no matter how good you are.

Best bet is to just hit max level, cap your honor and justice points and then wait until next season. No point to grind all your gear and then have to do it again in 2 weeks.

Yep, and like every season, I'd imagine that the current Malevolent gear will be obtainable through Honor.

Next season prolly won't start till late march/early april tough, sounds a bit far for the OP.

You can't buy the gear unless you're level 90.  Might not be bad to cap out your honor, but the gains will be a little quicker at 90.  Just depends how much you care about getting rolled.

Tip for you, hit 90 -> enjoy whatever you do outside WoW -> Come back next season.


Its pointless gearing up since the upgrade system(gets removed next season) fucks up making alts or starting this late because you can never catch up.

it is more efficient to bg at 89 instead of wasting time at lvling and then additionally time in bg. you dont miss anything right now and there is no way you can get geared up at all so might as well take your time and start playing in 5.2

Yep, just cap out your honor for next season before you quit, and you'll be good.
