Going to the army tomorrow and just realized im completly out of reading material. Its about 1 month until im allowed to go home and we arnt allowed laptops and shit so anybody have any suggestions to some book  or book series i would enjoy?

I like fantasy a lot like these books:
wheel of time series
wise mans fear/name of the wind
black magician series + prequal and sequal
kinda liked sword of truth.

dont mind if its long or short or how many books it is just need something to keep myself entertained.

read the entire game of thrones series but i will  try the hunger games and just buy the first 2 books at the airport or something. Heard a lot of good stuff about it.
read silence of the lambs a couple years ago and cant remember finding it to be all that good

then what do you expect me to do when im not allowed a laptop and not allowed to go outside the camp. I mean sure ill probably play cards and poker and stuff but ill definetly need more entertainment then that.

Assuming he's talking about the initial basic training it's because they're taking a civilian and turning him into a disciplined soldier and a part of becoming a soldier is bonding with the other recruits, your life could very well be in their hands one day. Things like smart phones and computers can be detrimental to this cause. There are also other reasons but I feel this is the most important.

this is so everybody looks the same

they will also issue everyone the same glasses frames for this reason, you'll all wear the same clothes, etc

Sanitary purposes. Disease and flees can't live on short hair.
