Title says it all, as of today, I've been unable to log into skype on my computer. I've reinstalled it twice, restarted computer, tried an older version, tried a different skype account, and I even tried some of the trouble shooting ideas they have on their forum, and it still says "Skype cannot connect". Is anyone else having this problem?

Can you give us the version of your windows ? (if its windows) and if its a 32 or 64 bits ?

Have you tried to launch it in administrator mode ?

are you running your skype off of a proxy? if so, your proxy might have gone bad.

Windows 7 and 64 bit. I've tried to launch in Administrator mode, but still can't log in =(

have you tried turning skype off and on again

Check to make sure the date / year is correct on your clock. If that doesnt work then rename your skype folder to skype.old

or go into your skype directory

C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\Skype

and delete the share.xml file

You're welcome, keep that directory in a notepad file or something. anythigns omething goes wrong wtih skype, always delete the shared.xml first. almost fixes everything

Colards having the same trouble did deleting share.xml work for you?

I deleted it aswell and it didn't work, i think its from my proxy, i probably did wrong when i tried to remove it.
