We know from the past that Blizzard never succeeds at implementing a good idea into this game. They will probably find a way to ruin it for us but that's okay since we'll all still p(l)ay.

Actually, I liked LoL when it first came out, but got bored of it quickly seeing as I played like 10 different classes and always ended up only playing one class through out the rest of the time I was playing. Then it was the same PvP, destroy a building, kill the other players and then destroy their building.

At least with WoW, you have BG's, Arenas, World PvP and the list goes on, which makes your character way more enjoyable to play. Which is why I actually want to see how will they work MOBA into WoW. If it does pretty well, I can see myself enjoying this game a little more since I'll have variations of PvP to choose from.

It's Blizzard, sorry to shit on your parade but they will fuck it up. If you think otherwise then you're an imbecile with no ability to trace patterns.

You do realise it will translate into this:

BG pops, 10 people join.
2 people go bottom lane, you go top lane, the 7 bots in the BG all run perfectly synchronized to the middle lane.
For 15 minutes you kill random non-elite mobs with little-to-no actual PvP action.
You push your lane because you're a frost DK and howling blast spam is best for non-elites.
15 minutes later after no actual PvP action you end up losing because the 7 bots in your BG lost their lane and your base got capped.

You do realize most people only care about this because of RBG and that even if 0 bots existed the exact same thing would happen cause 80% random players in bgs are completely awful and don't even know the definition of teamwork?

And to all of you saying blizzard sucks, fucks up w/e. Think of that to realize how inconsequential you truly are; the ratio of the whole pvp population to the game's total population, is the same as the number of people outside of sw or org dueling over the whole server's population. We (mainly you cause I don't complain) are like 0.001% of the entire game's population. They could remove pvp all together and you could all quit and their revenue would drop less than a splinter of a decimal. You have to be grateful that for the last couple of months that they are making real changes (removal of gag order, frost bomb nerf, shadow wave nerf etc) to satisfy this extremely small number of people complaining - because the big chunk of subscriptions is really happy right now. They are not the best changes, true, but you don't give them the best feedback to work with anyway.

Where do you get this miniscule percentage from? Is there actually statistical data for people who purely pve, purely pvp, or do both? I'm curious how little the pvp community actually is.

That is purely based on my interaction with various guild and people over 8 years both in the EU and the US in more than 10 different servers both big and small. I am more than confident that the number of people that play WoW just for pvp are as many as I described above.There was also a statistic made back in 2009 by some guy in EU that depicted similar numbers (and I am sure that you are aware that since 2009 the community has shrunk, something apparent from the sheer number of teams getting glad).

Ive always had this idea, and its a good one. But Blizzard isnt capable of it.
