Hello everyone
so im thinking about coming back to world of warcraft and i have some questions. How are mages doing at the moment, is this game still fun to play? I stopped playing wow pvp about 1,5 year ago.

and no especially not halfway through a season like this you'll never catch up on gear.

also i dunno about others but i quit this expansion because i didn't find it fun anymore

If you wanna come back, come back now, season end in like 2-3 weeks? if you miss start of new season it is GG since gear has probably more effect now than ever due to pvp power.

Is game fun? Is totally subjective. Some people like this expansion, some people don't. I personally and most of my friends found this season probably the worst since s5. Next season looks ok, but can't tell yet.

As for mages, will they be faceroll? Probably not. Will they be good? as always, yes?

You won't be able to do anything until the new season... estimates for new season are end of Feb/start of March.  They do seem to be trying to balance the game and a lot of retarded shit has been hotfixed... but that retarded shit shouldn't of made it past PTR.  S13 is looking like it could be fairly balanced.  If you have friends to play with then it could be fun.

I think its pretty awesome, my first time PVP seriously, I did a little bit last season for fun, and on my hunter back in BC. I think this is one of the better xpacs so far? Just because of the amount of things to do, they went overboard with the dailies, but I guess its a decent change. Other then that if your into pve or pvp doesn't really matter. You have Pet battles, scenarios, farming, pvp, raids, raid finder(not like end of cata where there was 2, you have like 6 right now. every raid teir has their own raid finder + its devided into 2 for each.) It just depends on what you really want to do man.

you have a couple of weeks/a month after a new season releases, else its game over and too late to come back

its absurd how gear dependant this game currently is, theres never been such a huge gap between semi decent and fully geared characters

Ugh...I honestly feel like I made a mistake coming back for the short time I have. I spend more time trying to figure out what will be fun than anything. I constantly reroll classes despite my hate for the grind that is leveling because I can't find anything that keeps me entertained. I used to love the game, always seemed like I had something to do. Now I sit in a city and bang my head on the desk more often than anything. I hope if you come back you have a better time than I am. I really just don't like where this game is going. Maybe it's because I took so much time off that I can't decide what to play, how to play, or even if I want to play anymore. Yet I log on and talk to the friends that force me to keep coming back.
