I assume I'll end up going to the $75 bar buy in since that's where my best female friend is likely to end up going and I THINK its seriously only couples @ the other one so I'm not super keen on that. Also kinda feel like that one will be more low key considering what I know.
I go out every NYE but it's pretty w/e to me due to how much hype it gets. I don't see the difference between it and any other party night really other than the expectations are so largely, unproportionately out of wack with any other night. I mean there was some ugly christmas sweater party that I was at last weekend with like 40-50 people and I feel like that is gonna end up being more cool, fun, exciting or whatever adjectives you wanna throw out than NYE. NYE seems like loads of social pressure to do something you're usually already doing.
That last paragraph sounds heaps negative or whatever and I'm not trying to be negative about it considering I'll go out and have fun blah blah but the expectations and hype around NYE is so gay to me I can't help but say something about it. There's a How I Met Your Mother episode about NYE too I believe that says the same shit
