I'm gonna be alone for the new year, as always

3 years ago I was on WoW and 30 seconds before midnight everyone met at Durotar and once past midnight, we all used our CD to celebrate the new year.
2 years ago I was left alone at home, my sister was at a party, my parents, with friends.
I celebrated the new year in the dark, infront of my screen wishing "happy new year" on skype.
The last year, i didn't wanted to hurt my parents, I took the car and I went to a lost field, i turned on the radio, I heard people having fun and partying.
When reached midnight, poeple were screaming, having fun, so I shed a tear and I drank a glass of whiskey ... :-(
Being with friends is always better than alone in the dark with his pc ... : (
I'm lonely and depressed

For real, go to Durotar and you'll see people from different timezones doing exactly that precisely every hour.
Thinking of it, I wonder if roleplayers who live in a different timezone than their server celebrate new years twice. Once in real life, and once for their character.

So I'll find a safe place in the forest with a sleeping bag, I'll bring a music player to put some songs to make people believe that I am actually in a party when I phone them to wish Happy New Year.
