Need some help trying to find a mobo with these specs -

Socket 775
PCIe 3.0

or else I will be forced to buy mobo with 1155 socket but then I have to buy new CPU >_>

(Im not really good with choosing motherboards :S)

ASROCK - G41M-GS3 775

I do not know if these have PCIe 3.0

or perhaps I can just update my CPU (mine atm is Core 2 Duo E7400)... but I don't have much money to spend atm...

I'd like i5 2500k but not enough money(new mobo+ram) for that so I need to find 1 good and cheap at same time i3 what would you recommend??? looking at i3 3220 atm..

After some more research I came up with this -

Processor: Intel Core i3-3220 Dual-Core Processor
RAM: G.SKILL - Ares DDR3 1600MHz 2x 4GB CL9 AO
Motherboard: ASUS - P8B75-M LX
Graphics Card: Twin Frozr III GeForce GTX 660
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast Series CMPSU-750TXV2 750 W Power Supply

Probably not worth dealing with a 775 anymore.

If you want to go with that build you listed, I would advocate the following changes:

1) Change RAM to something <$40

2) Drop the 750W seasonic-built for a 430W channel well- or seasonic-built:

The seasonic is preferred, but maybe not worth the $$ for a tight budget.

3) Depending on the games you're looking to play, you may be able to find a better balance of CPU & GPU $$. But that build will work.
