when ur at full hp doing the fake cast dance vs a war/rogue/dk whatever it is. are u even fake casting anymore? im starting to think that

A- the player im fighting is so horrible and unpredictable that its impossible to get a read on his kicks (if he even knows when to kick or not)

B- hes a master of the mind games and an amazing player that psychs you out by not kicking things he should and then randomly kicking things he should at a later date

ill spend a good 2 seconds fake casting only to cast and the guy doesnt kick. should i say F it and just hardcast everything unless im low?

it seems stupid but im sure some of you have fought this player whos kicking patterns are random. much like a bad war is scarier to cyclone then a good one simply because all game he hasnt noticed your clones then he randomly does and cost u the game vs KFC

The amount of fucking times I have raged over these shitty motherfucking warriors who randomly decide to spell reflect my 5th cyclone.....

Even when recieving 2 cs's and then start casting, and I get fucking charged and I dont even know what the fuck by this warrior, I almost just leave. No point. CC the Paladin for 15 seconds, paladin takes his partner to full in 1 second. FUCK

yeh but if ur a druid healing godcomp vs kfc u need to learn what type of reflector the war is cus if he reflects clone u may lose

yeah, but think the other way round. if you dont clone the warr or at least try to clone the warr you might lose as well.
so its a matter of coordination of your team, you dont want them to blow some of you up in a single clone...so design your gameplay around this.
otherwise you'll always play that risky game of "cloning or wasting globals on fakes and get blown up"

wasting globals on fakes is the only "safe way" but i see waht u mean

pummel is like 15 seconds, it aint even worth to lockout you just CC caster cos they fake 2 much

if u cycloned yourself, you get CCed for 6sec...if you fake 2-3 times, you almost wasted 4-5sec.
so isnt it better to get cloned rather than wasting globals whilst you still have the chance to get cloned after these "pro" faking actions?
imagine...you fake 2-3 times and then a real clone which get reflected...you wasted ~5sec on faking and another 6sec you are sitting in CC.
instead of getting a full clone on the warr or cloning yourself.

i dont wanna say that faking is completely useless....i just wanna express that too much fakecasting is locking down yourself

yes, most of the casters are really faking too much...they literally dont wanna get a cast off if the opponent doesnt lock them.
same thing to healers...a lot of healers are faking too much and cant get a single heal off if a melee is hitting them.

i mean...if i were a melee who noticed that the opponent doesnt get a single cast off if i dont use my kick...then i wont use it, since the opponent is killing himself pretty much.

The juking meta-game is pretty shit right now, most classes can just rotate through their other lockouts before they even have to think about interrupting. Next patch will be more manageable when you can actually fake SL/CS and Shockwave isn't stunning everything in existence all of the time.

fakecast 3: interrupt shout
fakecast 4: charge (if double specced)
fakecast 5: shockwave

fakecast 7: pummel (up again)
