i was told that would be the gladiator mount, theres an armored and unarmored version and its from the 5.2 raid achiev i believe, would make more sense than that serpent.

Lol are you joking? Every expansion the gladiator mount first of all has A) been a drake/dragon of some type and :duckers: matched the theme of the expansion.
  • BC - Netherdrakes
  • Wrath - Frostwryrms
  • Cata - twilight drakes
  • MoP - obviously was going to be this type of dragon
Second of all that mount image you linked was theArmored Riding Pteradactyl.  Sorry but you are very wrong on this one. We are getting some variant of the Pandaria chinese dragon thing.

I don't think it will require anything. Previous mounts granted free riding training so I guess this will be the case for this mount too.
