do you guys think the UH changes will make it viable?  and how easy it is to keep up our new "second wind" non stop?  only 5 rp tick, doesnt seem that bad

its actually 2 rp per second considering 4 pvp set bonus.

It feels better to look at it this way, but remember it's also a Death Coil every 6.4 seconds. Regardless, I usually have no RP problems keeping it up if I'm being focused and it helps lower pressure from being trained by quite a bit.

Death Knight
- You now maintain the same percentage of health when you switch into and out of Blood Presence
- Strangulate (but not Asphyxiate) is off the GCD.

I feel like these changes are enough except they should really put gnaw on 30-40 sec cd, remove rune cost from Strangulate and make Desecrated Ground remove silences.

they should just make it like another pvp trinket, 10 seconds of no cc's is too much. Then the removal of silences would be ok imo

2pc set bonus is 3rp / sec , which makes conversion straight 2 rp / sec. Keeping it up all the time is like sitting blood presence all the time. Unnesesarry waste of resources and dks have 3 ways to excape from dying in a stun + conversion can be activated while silenced.

Anyways Strangulate being offgcd now + cd is 1 minute is big +

Im considering strangulate glyph over simulacrum one now
Thoughts?

I haven't tested this yet, but the tooltip for conversion says following: "Only base Runic Power generation from spending runes may occur while Conversion is active" meaning that the 2 set bonus wont be effective while you have conversion up so it will be 5 rp/ sec.

Both pvp glove bonus and 2 pc bonus still work with conversion on ptr. If it wasn't like that conversion woulndnt be worth taking.

conversion just seems pointless, more rogues = more burst. need pet sac for some burst healing

on a side note, havent played dk on live for awhile but on ptr scleave and dk wwmonk seem pretty godlike

I dont think dual melee with WWmonk is gonna be good, despite of the buffs WWmonks are getting i still see them as a fragile class,so is Dk, its gonna be easy for rogue teams i think.

I am trusting Scleave for 5.2 setup if it doesnt stand a chance ill prolly quit,sick of being the last monkey class with almost no setups .

If you are having troubles with surviving vs rogues as dk this season you are just bad and from what i saw from 15 minutes of your stream I got to conclusion you are clueless.

Aside that conversion next patch is 3x better then deathpact expecially as unholy.
Usable while silenced healing for 6% / sec and almost free. I dont see any team have option to train dk in bloodpresence + conversion up next patch which solves half of our problems we have on live.

considering i havnt played deathknight from the first couple of weeks at the start of cata, and i dont stream. im finding that hard to believe.( im not the "typh" on Sylvanas, i used to play on cyclone / misery with dakkroth)
And funny enough like the thread suggests im talking about 5.2 not live. Conversion will be alright against some comps, however i cant see how anyone would want to give up death pact for most comps from my experience playing ptr.

And 6%? am i missing somthing here

I believe there's some kinda macro that means you can spam conversion on/off and it'll double proc the heal - so basically a bug

you need death pact against most hunter/rogue teams, you have no form of burst healing with lich/conversion since they don't synergize well

lol, Glyph of Death Coil in ptr absorb 27k dmg with mastery buff, with trinkets up absorb 41k dmg is really good for group survival in critical moments, we arent stacking but we can spam
