If this goes live mage will be fucking pointless to play, allready made the class super boring compared to wotlk/Cata and now remove the only fun you have in arena imo with deep freeze swaps and burst damage.

I'm pretty confident Blizzs wouldn't just hit us with a blanket nerf so hard. It is datamining after all, there's probably something else mmo-champion missed that mitigates the nerf. Something like maybe...

They increased the damage of Frostbolt by about 30% to make up for the Deep Freeze screw up. I doubt a change this stupid will be allowed to go through.

I think Mage was already fine with the Frost Bomb nerf. I don't see why this is needed; hopefully, at worst, they'll buff something else alongside Frost Bolt.

I feel like the patch notes are based on how the game was about 2 months ago.  Mages were massively OP, Rogues were total dogshit.  So they nerfed the shit out of Mages and buffed the shit out of Rogues, without considering that things were mostly evening out through hotfixes and nerfs on other classes.
