Demateralize would be a bit op i guess.
Fortifying Brew on a 1 min. cd and usable while stunned would fix a lot in my opinion...

Best solution imo. We'll see how it plays out without some sort of passive mitigation or if they will make some change like you suggested.

Ring of peace is amazing, however its 30 seconds longer cd than solar beam, and the silence only lasts 5 seconds (from what I saw, could be wrong) and we lose our AoE stun.

All in all the QoL changes make me super happy, the change to the mastery is promising, ring of peace is sick, and it feels like monk will shape into a very viable class. Can't wait to see if they decide to change anything or if these changes will make it live 5.2

I wish I could swap my mistweaver gear for the agi pieces. :(

After seeing how ring of peace works, I don't think we'll see this talent live.
I'm kinda interested how the elemental bro ability works but it's not on PTR yet.

storm, earth and fire is implemented now.
tested it a few minutes - looks kinda wierd for me at least...

I let the orange spirit (dual wields swords) sit by itself on another monk in a duel. On its own, it brought the monk down to around 40% in ~4-5 seconds.

I did nothing but watch.

ye, my first impression is, that it seems to be a really stupid mechanic... but it maybe need some more testing to do some proper statements

Put it on two other targets and attacked a third target on my own (it doesnt seem to copy some abilites if you don't attack something they're not, if that makes sense)

I wonder how playing with multi-dot in 3s would go then... put a spirit on your secondary target and go ham. Are spirits targettable/have hp?

Yes, 36k hp and targettable. However, there is no cooldown and only a 10 energy cost at this point, so there's not really any pain in applying it again other than using a global.


Before EU servers went down I had a few minutes to play around with this ability again. Doesn't seem like they're killable when I duel people, and if you become the red image (there's a red, blue and green image for those who didn't know and the one you send out/become seems to be random at the moment) you're marked as friendly as well. Not sure if this is a duelling bug with the ability or if it's like that in arena too. So... yeahhhhhh.

It's still somewhat bugged, you can't target the monk or the spirits right now.

Spells that are mirrored:
Rising Sun Kick (debuff is applied by the spirit but the dmg does not increase)
Chi Wave (jumps to the next player, does not target the spirit on any bumps)
Crackling Jade Lightning
Blackout Kick
Fists of Fury (!)
Jab
Spinning Crane Kick
Spinning Fire Blossom
Tiger Palm

Notable skills that are not mirrored are spear hand strike, leg sweep, paralysis and disable.
Pretty much all cc abilities, in that context it's kinda strange that Fists of Fury is copied.

For those who aren't on the PTR, the ability has a 40yd range and costs 10 energy for each spirit to summon.
You need a target so get the spirits out, they'll be summoned at your current location and jump to the current target the instant after.
There can only be one spirit on one target at any given time, so no stacking. The spirits can be canceled any time by right clicking the buff, but this while ultimately delete both spirits. (unlike xuen)

Damage was fixed when I tested Storm, Earth and Fire, only the target functions were messed up.

New blue post saying that its intent is to copy damaging abilities (as it is a PvE ability as well) but not to copy non-damaging abilites. I guess they'll make the spirits FoF not have a stun, even though it'd be so good if they left the stun in.

Yeah, I missed that bluepost somehow.

FoF on the spirits would be fun for sure, but I've got the feeling that we'll see a nerf pretty soon. (probably op in this state)

Would be nice if they could fix the whole SEF targeting issue as well, I'm curious if they want the spirits to be targetable or not.

My guess is that they want them to be targettable, it'd get changed/whined about pretty fast if they weren't on live as there'd be no way of stopping the spirits hitting you for ~11k every .x seconds. In PvE it won't make much of a difference if they are or not.

Tbh the spirits are weird to play with. I only hit target dummies but I really think I'd rather not even have this ability. Sure you can set them on two other people and have some aoe pressure but it feels clunky and kinda stupid, and the fact that you have to cancel both and not just one is bleh (but again they are only 10 energy so no biggie I guess). I'm not very excited to get this ability.

does the rising sun kick dmg debuff stacks if hits the target 2-3 times? oO
and does tigereye brew effect the images dmg in anyway?
