I just dont like crit in general, too RNG.. remove all crit in the game. Make all dmg & healing unable to critical hit, balance the whole game around nonecrits & only add dmg modifiers. Would be 100 times easier to balance the game if that happened =))

ur destroying a whole class by saying make spells/dmg unable to crit,  which is mage , but u also destroy others.Hf with mana fights if that happends .What a smart idea, ive always wanted to play 25 min game 24/7

I think it's pretty self-explanatory based on his idea that the numbers would be balanced around no crits resulting in no 25 min games?

He even said "balance the whole game around no crits"..

    • Discipline

      • The range of Penance is 40 yards to both friendly targets and enemies (was 40 yards to friendly targets and 30 yards to enemies).
      • Spirit Shell now provides an absorbing shield equal to your average healing and absorb effects, including critical healing and Divine Aegis. Spirit Shell no longer benefits from Mastery, and now properly includes the benefits of Divine Aegis and critical effect chance.
      • Divine Aegis now causes critical healing to apply an absorbing shield to the target, equal to 100% of the healing, rather than double healing. In additional, it also causes Power Word: Shield to have a chance equal to priest's critical change to absorb double damage. Divine Aegis is no longer guaranteed when Prayer of Healing is cast. The effect now activates when the spell crits.
More buffs? im starting to get worried, and its only me that feels like even with our heals getting buffed for like 1000000000% i still want a change on the playstyle more than being op...

spirit shell is scaling with mastery again? and is it dispelable? together with 4pcs bonus it will be our best cd

I really don't like the shadow changes.
We don't need more dmg, our dmg is already good, but I want to have fade back.
Now we have nothing against an enemy caster comp, one time open field and we have to disperse instantly and have to stay 2min back at the pillar. The Problem is we have to push open field because we are the only caster whose cc is meelerange.

Just remove the Dmg buffs and give us fade back and raise the cd of fade to 45sek

The thing is, most games are decided on what you do when you come out of cc and your team mate is very low. Palas come out of cc with 2 x instants = 250k, shamans with 250k ns. You come out of cc with your dick in your hand.

For the playstyle, I think we need to accept the fact that disc priest is now a season 2 holy paladin with less utility and massdispel(that ooms you). Solace hits people for 8k, smites are about the same with the glyph, so damage buff is unlikely  They won't nerf totemic restoration , so fear is useless, they won't give a second cc, something every healer has, they won't add a healing cooldown because disc is too strong in pve. As result, now you heal like other healers when left alone but you dont bring anything to the game.
If you are ok with those, disc is in a good state now, healing wise.

Discipline
  • Divine Aegis - Critical heals create a protective shield on the target, absorbing 100% of the amount healed, instead of healing for twice as much. Lasts 15 sec. Additionally, Power Word: Shield has a chance equal to your critical effect chance to absorb twice as much.
  • Mastery: Shield Discipline now increases the potency of all your damage absorption spells by 12.8%, down from 20%. Now also increases all of your healing by 6.4%.

It's pretty bad. Now you can never get out of the execute range because when you pop inner focus at low hp, half of it will go to a shield.
When you are in execute range, you are in it for life baby.

PS: I dunno how  mastery/ pw: shield changes are going to be, PTR is down.

i rather just lose divine aegis right now LOL
PW:S critting is kinda dumb too, OP when it does, and after mastery/pw:s nerf it will not be strong as it is now when doenst crit

edit. lol i dont even want to think about how necrotic strike will be even stronger against priests

just inner focused a flash heal with 3x grace for 100k. I do not like this.
