weapon and offensive trinket, you see the biggest pvp power change per ilevel increase on these items, basically pick items with the biggest pvp power

Weapon > Trinket > 5/5 Conquest Gear > Sword/Shield > Offpieces
Enter the nightmare, this future does implore,
A techno city state, a prison nothing more.
Rounded up like cattle, you're forced in to the trains,
Nothing that you've ever known will bring you so much pain.

I would disagree with the sword/shield part. You should be in defensive stance all the time anyway. Only reason to put a 1h+ shield on is to shield wall nowadays since there is no shield block. I would get offpieces first and then upgrade all items in the same order as you bought them and the very last thing I'd get is 1h + Shield.
Warrior is one of the hardest classes to kill atm with def stance and second wind.

Def Stance + SW definately is one of the best passive defensive cds in the game atm... probably a lot like 25% dmg reduc + 30% healing inc warlocks had before.
The only difference? Warlocks didn't have anything else.

well warlocks were OP then... warriors are OP now. Only difference is 8 out of the top 10 teams aren't containing a warrior + shaman like back then.

As far as the set pieces, saving for the more expensive pieces (head/chest/leggings) is my preferred method, but I've seen others do the opposite. Your choice.
