For a company that caters to the lowest common factor it' surprising they'd rather just murder the 1800-2199 players with the 2200 T2 weapons into quitting.

And the pre-1500 players and new alts who lose 10-20 times in a row against 15 pc malevolent players in the 1501 bracket and have 0 points to show.

>hey man dat 5 frost mage rbg team just wrekt us
>25 mins of gettin owned
>least we got some po- oh wait we got jack
>lmfao nice waste of my life ill never RBG again

There goes 98% of your pvp playerbase. enjoy 10 min queing into the same guy.

if you want to stay at 0 rating and have a 2200 cap then go ahead.

Im sure a lot of people would do this on their alts. This would inflate ratings.

Good, no more 2500 players in the 1900 bracket.

Some of your ideas are good...but your method is a problem for the above reasons.

As a player who has struggled to break 2.2k (2184, 2173 and 2154 have been my best attempts) it can be extremely frustrating to face T2 opponents.  I know you are going to say... LOL you are a warrior...but I face other warriors that have T2.  I'm considering buying a boost in RBG just to get the weapons and it won't affect my exp levels in arena that way.  I don't really care about RBG's, I just do it for the higher cap.

As for losing and gaining points, I think this is deeply flawed... no reward for losing IMO.  Eventually u will drop to an MMR that is suitable for your skill level and get wins.

well the problem lies in essentially that the gladiator range varies with every season

for example 2200 now is almost or in gladiator range in some battlegroups, but in cata this was definately not the case, 2200 was more common

weapons should be handed out with the same % style the titles are given

Weapons being unobtainable by 99% of the participants is the main reason pvp's lost almost all of it's cannon fodder players, and losing giving 0 rewards means any newcomers who gets raped by 1500 players in full malevolent  will never play again.

tbh i wouldn't make t2s more accessible untill they fix burst in pvp, it is already at reatrded level right now, making t2s easier to get would just make it worse

I like it when I have to fight a T2 warrior/hpala on my disc/ww monk 2v2. The damage is very balanced and can be dealt with very easily.

there's no point in even having a rating requirement on t2 when it's achievable from 2.2k in rbgs

The logic behind t2 weapons has always puzzled me, Is like giving Usain Bolt a 10 meter head start.

They should just make a completely different transmog set for 2200plus, similar to challenge mode dungeons reward.

T2 weapons give low rated players something to aim for, considering they removed all rating requirements on other gear, although to be honest, at this point in the game the only people that can't get t2 are those that have never played arena before this season
