And the pre-1500 players and new alts who lose 10-20 times in a row against 15 pc malevolent players in the 1501 bracket and have 0 points to show.

As a player who has struggled to break 2.2k (2184, 2173 and 2154 have been my best attempts) it can be extremely frustrating to face T2 opponents. I know you are going to say... LOL you are a warrior...but I face other warriors that have T2. I'm considering buying a boost in RBG just to get the weapons and it won't affect my exp levels in arena that way. I don't really care about RBG's, I just do it for the higher cap.
As for losing and gaining points, I think this is deeply flawed... no reward for losing IMO. Eventually u will drop to an MMR that is suitable for your skill level and get wins.

for example 2200 now is almost or in gladiator range in some battlegroups, but in cata this was definately not the case, 2200 was more common
weapons should be handed out with the same % style the titles are given

Weapons being unobtainable by 99% of the participants is the main reason pvp's lost almost all of it's cannon fodder players, and losing giving 0 rewards means any newcomers who gets raped by 1500 players in full malevolent will never play again.

They should just make a completely different transmog set for 2200plus, similar to challenge mode dungeons reward.
