On topic, I can't see why the damage is a problem - at the end of the day slam, ms, 1 tbf hc strike all do more. I would have no problem if the damage component was removed but I can't see why (if someone is kind enough to explain with strong arguements I would be grateful - no troll).

It's the only spell in the game that disables multiple targets in an aoe, does 1/4 of said healthbars when cooldowns are popped, and is on a 20 second cooldown.

The problem is that you can cast all your spells, and your teammates, in a cc that does damage.  It's like kidney shot hitting for 100k basically.  

What if the mage change was frost bomb hits for 50% less but deep freeze now lasts 4 seconds, now does upto 100k crits with cooldowns.  

Imagine if mages frozen orb lasted 4 seconds, crit for 30k per tick per second, and deep froze all targets in a 10 yard range of it.

If you need more explanation, you should seek medical attention.

In the end, there is a lot of shit that is broke, there always is, always will be, we still play.  If we didn't, we wouldn't be posting on AJ about game mechanics.

how the fuck can you say shadowfury and shockweave are similar. Shockweave is the best abilety at the moment in this game (pvp wise) way 2 op

Why would a good Warrior use Shockwave for anything other than stopping a hard swap/burst or ensuring a kill?

The mongoloids who charge all over the place spamming Shockwave on cooldown are annoying, but the ones who stun your entire team when you try to do any sort of coordinated damage are a lot worse.

normally shockwave dmg isn't a big deal, but yes, when cds are popped, shit hits hard. the dmg it does is just warriors doing a lot of dmg tho, not really shockwave itself being tuned for too much dmg. the 4 sec aoe stun on a 20 sec cd is just beyond retarded. there's really no defending it when it's given to the melee class with the highest dmg output

Change the talent to be Prot only and if Arms/Fury specs into it, it would be Throwdown. PvE is happy and everyone else except PvP warrior community is happy. We would still see the "fake pummel, jk throwdown", but it's a fair trade. Would make Stormbolt useless ability tho, but everyone has useless talents in their book

we have mages, warriors, and spriests arguing over which one is op and which nerf is too much and would make them obsolete in comparison to each other, while everyone else just deals with it :(
