Warriors are supposed to be the melee with good damage and good defensive cds
Rogues, good cc and mobility and burst
Ret, good heal and damage

Mop:

Warriors are kings of damage, defensive cds, cc, more like aoe cc, healing, mobility and burst.

On topic, I can't see why the damage is a problem - at the end of the day slam, ms, 1 tbf hc strike all do more. I would have no problem if the damage component was removed but I can't see why (if someone is kind enough to explain with strong arguements I would be grateful - no troll).

I would kindly like to direct you to shadowburn, where kfc is the top 4 in the bracket, i'm sure its skill though and not their over the top damage and control. Smh

I'd suggest taking out shockwave's absurd damage and keep it as a low cd or leave the damage and up the cd (an awful choice but this is what we see time and time again creating a more and more cd based gameplay -.-)

So, because of one spec of one class, in one certain instance, where you are probably already losing if you need to spirit link, a spell needs to be nerfed.

Sounds good to me.

I agree shockwave perhaps needs to be toned down a tad, but if you're a good player, it's easy to find ways around it.
