Hotfixed the hotfix:

Frost bomb countdown has been reduced to 4s (currently 3s on my mage w/ 12% haste) and the damage has been nerfed somewhat (roughly 50-80k, no idea why the variance is so large) and it seems to be EXTREMELY buggy with shatter aswell.

im full haste got 18% human, with no human reforging trinket for haste probally get 20%.
with shadowpriest on my team 5% with that stats i get bomb to explode in 3 secs or less
but lost alot of resi and mastery

My ffb's are also hitting for less possible nerf to brain freeze aswell?

haste isnt nearly as important as all other stats as a mage

It's very buggy in EU atm some places its live some its not. I did try a wargame with some mages to test damage seems like frostbomb got a 20% flat dmg nerf same with frost fire bomb next to the other changes.

mage changes looks good. FIreblast 50% dmg reduction. the 20% blanked dmg nerf on frostbomb and that frostbomb needs 4sec for 2 detonate instead of 6

I was wrong it was 20% as confirmed by others, i did some playing around with tempest & living bomb tonight and came to the conclusion that tempest is actually really good (yes even as frost) for caster cleaves, frost bomb is still king w/ shit like mage/warr/x though. All in all though I really like the revert to 4s and the reasonable nerf just wish the variance wasn't so large and that it crit everytime like it was supposed to when shattered.

Haste stacking will be the way to go just like it is for PvE frost. Lowering the GCD to get more instants (Ice Lance/Frost Firebolts) and to lower the explosion time on Frost Bomb will outweigh mastery. Haste never has been bad, and you are going to see other benefits from stacking it as well (Faster Polys, RoF, Frost Bolts (lol))

I think haste stacked nether tempest, as frost or fire (fire sounds like it might be best) is the way to go.  It doesn't break fragile CC, amazingly (does not attack polymorphed targets)

Glyph choices are numerous, I think Poly/DF are mandatory-ish, third glyph can be anything - armors against cleaves, evo in 2v2, maybe even ice block?
