Im just curious how GC went from, "TFB is only good for PvP videos" to "Nerf it by 80 percent" in like 2 weeks. It is a dumb mechanic and they should get rid of it completely.

Well its kinda obvious that blizzard is incapable of balancing pvp after all these years, at least by themselves.

Only way they can actually fix the game is if they nerfed something that needs to be nerfed in the right way, and only way for that to happen is if there was a committee of high rated pvpers working together and presenting their unanimous ideas to the devs. Literally do their job while they get payed for it.

I dont mind the nerfs either, I said it might be a bit much and they might need to look into raising MS and OP damage to give more sustained output.  Maybe my first post didnt come across like I meant it to, but I 100% agree with TFB and that ridiculous burst we had getting toned down.

What would you have suggested? It did seem a bit silly that it did not really matter to silence and try to kill a Shaman of their partner, when they could just drop SLT, Healing Tide or Grounding. Not to mention, fearing one and then silencing the Shaman should reward you with the fear.

Shamans are still the best healer by far, especially considering they have the largest heals of any class, doing quite a lot of overhealing. If it was up to me, Chain heal and Healing Rain should be buffed slightly, in order to reduce their Mastery benefit (Would make sure PvE did not get nerfed), so they would be on par with others.

Nobody else can do anything while silenced, why should Shamans be the exception? If you feel they are too squishy, I do ask you to check ladders, even when they are playing without a Shadow Priest. Paladins go 100-0 vs. any Stun/Mage team, Disc priest... Nevermind. Rdruid would die to any 2 people training them if they didn't have Displacer Beast (another problem that could be reworked and solved, to make it more even for all parts). Shamans have ES and Natures Guardian. Perhaps a minor dmg reduction CD when stunned would fit, but silenced, thats how it is for everyone.

On topic: Frost bomb can still do its full damage after 6 seconds? You just have to set it up now. If your know the enemy healer is CC'ed or just dispelled, what is the problem?

idk it doesnt seem to bad, just requires a bit more brains now, mages will still be retarded with orb + on use trinket on same cd, orb + deep with lance spam is well enough to force some shit

thank god for frostbomb nerf, rest is good too.  I actually didn't like tfb, because it was annoying as hell to stack, although 2s will be a bit of a pain, but who really cares about 2s.

Has this been implemented yet? I'm still seeing TFB stacking and mages are still critting for the same amount regardless of fireblast detonation or not.

So an overnerf on frost, killing a number of frost mage comps. Leaving maybe a couple of tedious comps that are designed around letting Bomb tick off normally in a deep because blizz can't effect PvE ofc.
We'll see a steady switch to mages playing fire because it's a pretty undervalued spec and lining up multiple 80-110k Pyro crits in a deep with alter time works well and dragons breath is still an insane peel.

Warriors will be fine -  No more 200k crits but they will keep their pressure with the extra 15% reduction on heals. Guess everyone will now use glyph of hindering.

And everyones going to want a feral, maybe they'll gut incarnation next? jk it'll be dispellable clones.

Anybody with full geared full upgraded mage test if u can get enough haste for bomb to explode during deep if u apply deep the global after bomb please.
