LOL Frostbolt and Icelance hits exactly the same as Frostbomb with Glyph of Fire Blast, with Glyphed Cone of Cold being just 10k less on target dummy. Fireblast does 10k less than Glyphed CoC. Funny numbers.



the dummy does not take resi in mind. try it on a 65%+ resi geared and report again, thank you. different spells scale different PS frost bomb glyph is not live EU

It looks like the first one didn't crit.
Also I remember someone mentioning in this thread that living bomb gives ffb prods too. Is it just when it detonate or is there a chance when it ticks too?

Different spells scale differently with resilience? That's new to me. Also does not count pvp power. Glyph is live on EU, atleast outside of arenas.

So if you have the fireblast glyph it seems your frostbomb is nerfed by 50% regardless to if you use fireblast or not, rendering the glyph basicly useless

The healing nerf makes me want to gouge my eyes out. So fucking hard to keep your teammates alive when the other team has a MS + battle fatigue T.T

All spells scale exactly the same with pvp power/pvp resil, so ratio-based comparisons (i.e. bomb does X% of ice lance damage) are accurate

Only viable option now it seems is to go full haste, play with a spriest and use frost armor. Fuck resi sockets 320 haste all the way.

Well, dispel has a 8 second cooldown now which it did not previously.  So that's one reason...

They reduced the duration to 4 seconds, but also reduced damage by 20% against players.  This stacks with the glyph nerf, so if you explode a bomb it now does 40% of the damage that it did last week.  It now hits about for about 25% less than an ice lance.  lol.

my previous post is 100% accurate.  Hotfixes since 5.1 came out:

-50% glyph damage (happened a couple days ago)
-20% damage to players (today)
4 second debuff duration down from 6 seconds (today)

The glyph got nerfed so Frost Bomb damage could be expected / prepared for.

The damage got nerfed, because it was ridiculous. 20% nerf should put it at a good level.

The detonation got reverted to 4 seconds, because 6 seconds detonate, a cast and a freeze requirement is ridiculous amount of setup required with the amount of instant CC + dispel in the game.

Over all this is a nerf to the mages, one in the right direction
