It is a nerf that is needed for Mages, however 50% is fucking overkill, 30% would be enough and then buffing frostbolt damage for sustained damage since we have none outside of proccs and frostbomb which results in a dumb playstyle. Besides this nerf was called for ages ago, the Deep Freeze is probably gonna stick because 5 second DF compared to 4 makes alot of difference as fire (in terms of how many Pyroblasts u can get off before deep ends) which sadly sucks for frost mages because they randomly decided to put deep as baseline. They should also take a look into the time it takes before bomb detonates if this is the new playstyle they want us to go with, as of right now you have a full CC: 8sec. You cast it, then you cast your frostbomb, byt the time your cc on the healer is over it explodes and you can do your FFB procc, which will probably get outhealed right away when the healer is out, cmon its not fucking bane of doom here

25-30% reverse deep/bomb changes. and we are all good, btw make spellsteal remove magic not steal em (like SP dispel) and is fine

They had to make it that the longer frost bomb is on target  the bigger damage it deals. Just like combo points work.
Sadly for such change i think they will need alot of coding.
Also they could add a glyph that removes the "steal"effect from spell steal(so it works as purge) and its mana cost is reduced by XX%.I know it wont be spell "steal" anymore but i see many mages actually would like such change.

How does this really change anything for Frost mages? It won't break their class at all

The main way they score a kill is pom ring > fbomb > then shatter burst and lance spam, with a fire blast to explode the bomb

now they'll pom ring > fbomb > wait a couple seconds > shatter burst and lance spam, while bomb explodes by itself

????????? correct me if i'm wrong, i don't play a mage, but im pretty sure that's how it works

Make frost bolt do ~60-70k shatters and maybe we'll be looking at something.

Though it's already near impossible to cast bomb, good luck casting frostbolt without some ring/shockwave action

Pretty happy about the frost bomb nerf, although I think it may be a bit much...still, mage tears delicious.  TFB nerf didn't really change much I don't think.
