I stumbled upon something that has eluded me for quite some time now and I don't know if other resto druids know about this yet or not.

With the new changes to abilities druids can use prowl, stampede, etc, and it will shift you to the respective form. Most of these abilities aren't on the GCD so you can use them if you are stuck in a global to avoid the poly.  However these are all on long cooldowns or require you to be out of combat and you really don't want to use them to avoid getting polyed.

However, Growl shifts you straight into bear form, is off the GCD, and has an 8 second CD.

/stopcasting
/targetenemy
/cast Growl

Never get polyed because of GCD again!

It's mainly for the instant globals. Stopcasting isn't really something new haha

I figured as much was going to come from you, Zapple. The WoW Community has a bad reputation because of people like you. You sit and bash people for literally no other reason but to fulfill your ego (in which case shouldn't be that big considering you barely got glad as end of S11 RMP on emberstorm) This post was just get this growl thing out there and you (again not surprisingly) decided to be a pretentious douche

I'm positive most druids would disagree with you because no matter how well you manage your GCDs during swifty one shot macros there is always still a chance that you will get caught in a global. If you even watch any of the top druid's streams it happens almost every game there is no fool proof way of not getting polyed.

TL:DR Literally no one likes you and getting caught in globals happens

even if u'd never get poly'd because ur always predicting any sheep cast, using growl to shapeshift instead of the actual bear form means 1 more healing gcd anyway and is always the better option.
All the druid abilities off the GCD that still shapeshift are pretty nuts and save time-

Growl is off the gcd so if you see a poly coming you can swiftmend then instantly hit the macro and you will go into bear from. So you still get the gcd on healing and you aren't polyed as well.
