Not sure if this is the right place to post, move it otherwise.I made a calculator that calculates depending on the spell if it's best to gem pvp power or your main stat and how many times better PvP power / Main stat is, and how much you need to make them equally good. It already accounts for that PvP Power comes with double stats over main stat in gems so don't think about that.Just enter your unbuffed SP / AP, PvP power and if you gain 1 sp/ap or 2 sp/ap per stat point (I believe some specs gain 2, but tell me if there are any specs that gain any other value and i will add it). Then go to wowhead, find the spell you wanna check and enter the min damage, max damage, sp/ap scaling. If you're a healer, check "is heal spell" so it accounts for half pvp power % gain, Calculate.You will now see how much sp/ap or pvp power you need for 1 main stat to be equal to 2 pvp power, and also how many times better your sp/ap or pvp power is compared to the other with the stats you currently have.Known bugs:

• Don't leave any fields blank or attempt to add decimals, it will cause the program to exit. You can add decimals ("," not ".") for Scaling% only.
  
• Don't leave Scaling% at 0, it will cause an infinite loop (might fix this later).
  
• You will get an incorrect value if you leave spellpower at 1 or less because of the calculation. You will get a correct value if you put it at above 2 (which you should have anyway).

Edit: Updated with the option to check 10% SP/AP Buff and 5% Main stat Buff aswell as the 5% bonus for having only the same armor type.

If you found flaws i would like to know about them, but i can't do anything if you don't provide specific examples.. For now i will concider your post a troll post.

Here's a few simple examples from hunter PoV:

How exactly does the calculator take into account that main stat(s), such as agility also give crit chance? You can't compare the value of agility and pvp power without knowing how much crit % you have. (Don't bother trying to fix this as you won't get it right anyways)
Agility scales with BoK and mail specialization.
Attack power scales with 10% attack power buff.
Talents like Piercing shots.

And I can think of around 50 other reasons your calculator doesn't give correct information for other classes either. I hope you get the idea.

That's more constructive. I will add crit chance, forgot about that. And i'll add 5% more main stat (it's for all classes right?), and i'll add possible buffs to main stat as alternatives in the calculator.
Also it's extremely simple to fix these things so i think i will bother trying. Don't be a dick, you're not good enough to be a dick.

It could be helpful to consider for example Sword of Light for Retribution Paladins aswell, since pvp power doesn't increase healing anymore, but strength still does. While pvp power might be better for pure dmg at one point, strength could make up for it by increasing the dmg and healing. I would like to compare some values in a calculator, because i'm too lazy to do the math myself .
