Seriously, get a mechanical keyboard, your mind will be blown. If I could go back in time and convince myself to buy one piece of tech earlier, it would be a mechanical keyboard.
If you're willing to drop a bit more $$, pick up a filco or ducky or something.
As for headset, I also recommend not buying one. Headphone + clipon or desk mic is much better. Also, for audio I would stick to an actual audio company.
As for exactly what kind, it really depends. HD 280 are some pretty good low-mid budget closed ears, more noise canceling than an open one. If you have the budget and want better sound, hd 555 is a pretty good bet, as would be an AT m50.
Add any $5~$20 clip on or desktop mic. There's a logictech desktop USB mic out there that's neigh indestructable. Chances are you don't need a really high end mic, and any $5~$20 mic is going to be already way better than the piece of utter shit in a headset.
If you need something cheaper, maybe some AT m30 or hd 429

Not having this annoying headset cable, and beeing able to listen to music whilst taking a piss is seriously #1. (Might creep out friends if you're on skype with them though!)
Both audio and microphone quality is really good aswell (probably not as good as Sennheiser HD-280, but it's really not bad).
Edit: As for keyboard, mechanical keyboard's the way to go, takes some time getting used to, but it's a lot better. Currently got a QPad MK-50, fairly cheap and it's easy to clean, which is nice if you're eating by the computer. (got this tool to take off the buttons with).

I've been trying to find something like that for ages, but practically everything that comes with such features is either from Razer or it isn't mechanical.

Do you absolutely need more buttons than the normal ones + F keys?
If you need buttons that are closer together, you can try a compact keyboard like this:

Also if you get the right kind of clip on mic, you may get less ambient noise than from a headset. You can get one that'll attach pretty much directly on the headphone cable:

Wireless is a whole different ballgame, I don't know shit about that.

My current keyboard has those extra buttons and I'm really quite used to them by now. I don't know, I could probably get away with a regular layout if I could reach more buttons as my current keyboard is HUGE, but it was worth a shot asking

Why not get the Blackwidow then? IF you want blue switches, that is. They're loud.
I think the Stealth edition or whatever comes with browns.
Sure Razer might have bad products, but they have good ones as well. I had an Abyssus from them, great mouse works perfectly. I've had my Deathadder for 4+ years now, as good as new.
So I think Blackwidow is fine if you like that layout and switch type, affordable too.
Or just get used to layout w/o extra buttons, then you have a wide selection of keyboards to pick from.
Personally I've just ordered the QPAD MK-50 few days ago, with red switches.
You can choose from 4 switch types and 5 layouts(lot of keyboards only come with US layout, which I didn't want).

It's the best imo.

and for headset I would buy the Sennheister PC 360. It's awesome. I'm sure even people here will have good things to say about it.
