I've done it more than once but usually leaves your healer in a bad place with them thinking you've got another block so they misjudge eating a CC/holding back heals for a second thinking you're gonna block!

Anyone else cold snap before their first block to avoid getting global'd from time to time? It's actually saved me from a couple of gibs when im on global and in the best case scenario I don't have to use my second and now only block. I try to not make this a bad habit due to the obvious consequences but it's a shame to get the nickname neverblockx.
I do this from time to time but it rarely happens, only if i fuck up

tbh I'll only do it if i get locked on frost since you can snap then block while locked which is rly good when teams know they locked u and pop all their cds
uh... why else would you snap before blocking?
nvm stupid question, plus i do this all the time lol

cause it sometimes happens, that you stuck in a global and just get a 100k+ hit which was not predictable (jk of course it was) and you have to reset the global and the heal of cold snap is pretty good as well.
for example:
you're on 60% health, melee shaman pops form, stormstrike hits you for 55% of your hp and you just used a global.
what would you do, snap or die?

Nvm your warrior/rogue/anyotherridiciliousburstclasswhichseemstobemostofthem killed the enemy two minutes after you die.Apparently some mages would rather just be dead than pop cold snap to stay alive
