Played several games last night and I was the only player out of our team who could actually take the gateway.

i dont have the minor glyph so unless my teammates were not clicking on it (lol) and were trying to run through it. I am not sure what exactly is going on.



apparently im an idiot and named the topic demonic portal. I am talking about the GATEWAY!

its a bug.. you can only try to restart game and tell your mates to restart. doesnt matter if you have it glyphed or not, this happens since release (to me at least)

theres a demonic stone u buy from stormwind reagent vendor now costs 8 gold and works 100% of the time with this in your bags ( Not trolling)

You probably mean "gateway control stone". But with this stone you are getting teleported without clicking on it, which is something some ppl would like to avoid i guess. Also not sure if other than the warlock can buy it. In any case this bug is annoying since not-working portal can cost alot of games

Today I played some 2s with my warlock friend, we had 64-0 stat, wanted to go for 100-0
When I spam clicked on the gateway, instead of flying to the other side, I instantly appeared there, and disconnected, and ofc lost...

so it got fixed for me when we all turned pvp ON

but am i the only one that gets randomly disconnected when using demonic circle: teleport at least once every second game?

I miss playing vs WLS and kiting the warrior by the gateway and watch him fly across the screen away from me during his 1 shot macros haha.

if you port same time you get rooted, you DC.

I made a topic about this subject a while ago on the battle.net forums, you guys might want to up it or make your own posts to get blizzard's attention. I'd rather have it fixed than some strange work-arounds.

Why can I sometimes not take my own gateway? I have the same pvp flag as myself and am in the same zone as myself obviously..

Does it share invisible CD with regular portal? I've even had times where I take gateway and then after the debuff fades I can't take it again for a while, is that bugged as well? can't ever get this to work reliably...

nah its sometimes bugged for yourself too.
the most crazy thing that happened to me with gateway was when i spamclicked it while being garrote silenced. For the rogue, my character went through it but for some reason not for me. In the end i got killed by the rogue that attacked me all game over 30 yards.

I've been reporting this bug from the start of the expansion and the only possible work around, currently, is to use the gateway control stones or have it glyphd.

If some people didn't know, you have to be in line of sight of the gateway you want to port to.
Say gateway X is right next to a pillar, if you click on it while you're not in line of sight of gateway Y you won't go anywhere, and you'll get a 15sec debuff like you normally would (except you can't see the debuff) - also, it consumes a charge.

Thanks for that.  Just been trying it out and the fact that it provides you with an invisible debuff is the most annoying problem I guess...
