As frost with 46.29% PvP power (yeah I'm shitty geared), I had ~23k absorb w/o CDs, ~40k with. I might just be plain retarded, but what makes ns better as unholy than frost?

Unholy might gives you the passive 15% str bonus, so you have more base AP for necrotics as unholy in comparison to frost. Other than that I can't say off the top of my head, pretty sure the two times i've tested it the mastery hasn't done shit for necrotic though.

The thing is, you dont do much damage as frost if you spam necrotic. As Unholy there is your pet & stronger diseases & that leads into more pressure.
