I’m currently working on a postmodern short film for one of my finals at school. The film is going to focus on the collective existence that we all share as inhabitants of the planet. My hope for the film is to collect minute-long recordings from participants across the globe. I’ll then cut together the clips into fairly short segments that rotate every few seconds with the location/info displayed in the corner of the frame. The goal is to show all of the different activities, events, or non-events that are taking place throughout the world at any given time.

What I Need From You:
A minute long recording of anything relating to your life at that given moment. It can be of you, of things or people around you, where you are and so on. The footage can be shot with any device. (video camera, dslr, cell phone etc.) You can upload the video clip using YouTube, Vimeo, TinyPic or another file service.

I will sincerely appreciate anyone who takes the time to participate. The more footage I get the better the diversity and effectiveness of the video will be! Due credit for the footage will be given to included scenes and the final result will be uploaded for people to see!

You can submit the video to me during the following week, the sooner the better obviously, but no immediate rush.

I made a surrealist movie for a paper, I'll gladly help you out. Filmmaking is great, but I really am not at all talented. Don't expect me to send it to you before Sunday, though. I'm a lazy person. Are you going to upload the movie when it's finished?
