RAF'd a druid and i cant stand gathering proffs to lvl the main one. has anyone recently bought LW or another cheap proff on tich or other high pop server

I actually just leveled LW yesterday on EU horde Stormscale. Cost me around 12-15000g I think to get to 575 (the level you need to get +500 enchant to bracer). But I did it all in one day and I'm impatient. I also don't have skinning. I bought everything from the AH apart from about 40 Savage leather I got from Honour points. I had to drop JC because it was giving me no stat benefit as I use pvp power as much as possible. I bet they add +500 pvp power gems in 5.1 now I've spent all that gold.

If you're a healer mining ain't bad. +stamina for 5 hours of effort.
Enchanting can be done in less than 10 hours just do instances and shit. Also you'll make money disenchanting your old stuff which is great if you're raiding. Them blood spirits and sha crystals.
You're late to the party for inscription, makes like 600-800gold a day just through selling scrolls. You make up the cost of mats in 4-5 days.

ive heard (not sure if true) that you only need 300 alchemist to obtain the needed boost for your stats.
if this is true it should be very cheap!

Confirmed. I laughed pretty hard when this happened while I was leveling up my Alch.
There really is no true substitution for a good engineer though. If you have a miner, it's a breeze to level, and cheap too.

but I do think raw dmg gives more tho =S but not to bad with haste buff probly!

Blacksmithing (I don't know if it's cheap or what) is probably the best PvP profession by far just because of the sockets.

Expensive as fuck to level, late Classic and TBC ores can be pricy as fuck and there are never enough on AH pretty much :l

Blacksmith is undoubtedly the best ... plus you can make money out of it easily by farming motes at the tillers... I make about 5k a week easily... probably more for 5 mins farming a day. I don't even need the gold, but it's nice to have for gemming/enchanting etc.
