So I thought i couldn't be bothered to write up a blog and videos seem to reach more people so i've made this video talking about what i think could improve MM and make it properly viable (not 2k+ viable lol, i mean tournament level viable)

also i found a certain blue post pretty ridiculous..

Something that's not really MM related, but in general, is our fucking talent trees, half of it has horrible design, bugs or just are mandatory leaving no space to take others.

Feel like our only true choice is lynx rush vs blink strike, and that's being taken away next patch even.

This. For example binding shot is realy cool design imo, I just don't ever see anyone taking it over silence shot. And it's a bit depressing that the lvl 75 tier is only BM abilities (I don't even consider murder of crows a spell, it's so fucking shit)

MM = Shit spec
Survival = Super shit spec
BM = retarded spec

Conclusion, hunter sucks so far and i am afraid 5.1 is coming very soon with no additional changes. Which would make me tempted to quit the game if that is the case.

I tend to agree with you, honestly they dont have to do much. I would also suggest along with increasing chimera damage also decrease the cooldown. It seems rather strange that they can have most classes be able to do more damage with abilities that have little or no cooldown yet doesn't define a spec while hunters on the other hand our main abilities can't even compare. a CC break or defensive cooldown is a definite must perhaps make deterrence break us out of CC similiar to iceblock instead of giving us a whole new ability as im currently specced into 1min deterrence atm although that might seem to OP to some but another defensive mechanic must be added to compete with other classes ability to CC.

MM is actually really good damage and so is survival. In survival i would only love fire trap to be unlinked from black arrow and maybe bit less cd on serpent sting (or no gcd on it). Atm i even just multi shot(when i have thrill of the hunt) since it applies sting + does dmg and cost only 20 focus during thrill(+ applies to w/e else it hits) "WARNING: dont do it when you cc someone close :b ". What i would love is some bonus defensive cd( or just please fix RoS lol).
BM is still bit more superior vs MM only becouse of BW as trinket. Yet MM is much stronger vs some casters(like mages).

maybe when you spec into mm you get a passive 10% damage buff on your single target damage abilties, like arcane shot, chimera shot, etc.  Also fix talent trees and the powershot bug?

I didn't ask for damage boost :b Its just sting cost quite too much focus:( or atleast reduce Black arrows cost.

If you also check out worldoflogs.com, you see that the most speccs deal more dmg then each hunter specc.
There is room to buff the hunter class.
