From the games I did get to play, it seemed pretty bad to mediocre. Dark Soul is the only time my damage feels real, but it does feel pretty real during that time (although I was playing Sacrifice, so a more standard build would have less single target in dark soul).
Unfortunately, as people learn how to counter Affliction Dark Soul, (dispel the dots!) the effectiveness will go down, and I don't think it's strong enough to withstand people learning about it, like old Demo was.
Warlock damage outside of Dark Soul needs to be doubled. Blood Fear needs to go, and Dark Soul needs a 30-50% nerf. Remove all on-use-damage PvP trinkets from the game, and you'd probably have a good+fun class.
I feel like making a thread about removing on-use-damage PvP trinkets from the game, but I dunno man. I think I've lost hope. That'd be the #1 best change that could happen for the overall health of the game, IMO. They might as well change the text of the on-use to: "While doing 50% more damage, you do an additional 20% more damage." I fucking hate it.
