Or you could just go to your start menu  

run...

"regedit"

It will pull up your registry, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, drop down until you find software, drop down again until you see "policies" and drop down again until you see skype.

Now modify the values and you should be set.

I posted this guide here to make it easier for them.  The idea of going in and editing the registry manually like that often times scares people that are computer illiterate.

Bump.  Method in OP still works.  Though from what I have noticed, ddosing hasn't really been a thing as of late.

Yeah I have been, I don't play this game very much anymore.  I just browse AJ occasionally.

Be sure to understand that since skype 6.18, you can be resolved wether you have a proxy or not (will not go into details on this, but kinda the same shit happened on the 5.55 update )
You would need the whole computer to be under a vpn / proxy, and you're safe.
