really cool that the chinese treat wow players like celebrities

It was actually quite amazing. The Chinese viewers / fans are so incredibly excited and it featured all types of crowds. From hardcore WoW PvPers that could talk about every detail in the game, casual players, couples using the event like a date, and even married couples. I met a girl fan that recognized me who played Paladin for 7 years. I think it's very encouraging for all players to see a crowd so enthusiastic about the game and the players. It's quite nice to also see that the WoW area was FLOODED; people had to fight for room on the sides and the SC2 one was only ~50-70% filled. In most E-Sports events in the past it was completely the opposite and most likely worse. You can actually see that the community here loves the game intensely. The only thing I wish could've went better was the content; it would've been nice to see more games on stage or the secondary stream. Many games were played off-stream and from what I know of, completely VODless. The Korean team against Bring It was so intense... It's sad to think that it might not get a VOD
Reckful was like a real celebrity and there was a time with ~30+ people circling around him to get an autograph or picture taken. Several other WoW players such as Snutz, Venruki, Talbadar, myself and many more also had fans that recognized us to get pictures or autographs.
