Blizzard invited me to the BWC event in Shanghai as blogger and interviewer. My plane will leave tomorrow around noon and once I'm in China you will see regular updates, interviews and more from me. If everything works out I'll do some video blogs, too. If you want to follow me coverage just use the links below.
Of course I will be visiting AJ regulary. Also send me recommendations, questions, memes and flames. If the internet is working well you will see a lot of coverage by me.

Ok, I just set my tech up in the hotel. Will be meeting the players later on. Currently they are at a shooting. Seems like many websites (Facebook, Twitter, eu.battle.net) are blocked from China and currently I try to find out how to circumvent that.
The hotel is really good and Blizzard did an outstanding job in that regard. See the view from my room:

being someone from a country that bans a lot of websites you either need to use tunnel websites, change your dns settings or there are other ways you can just google.

most people use vpn services in china to access those sites in china
nearly every hostel in big cities in china got those stuff if you cba to set it up on your computer or buy for it

Just had dinner with Diziet. Met Venruki, Talbadar, Conrad and Day9. Next up: Recap of talk with Team Old Boy from China. Also got the VPN working.

The teams and the commentators left for the tournament location. Vanguards and me will talk about the teams today. We wanted to do a Skyline podcast but Shanghai is foggy today. Problem is my HD webcam didn't arrive in time before leaving, so we will try the crappy notebook camera or even the Samsung S3 video camera.
